Protecting Our Rivers: Delaware and Schuylkill

CCPA’s continuing Sustainable Philadelphia Series features two local organizations that are helping to improve the quality of our precious rivers.

Sharing insights and information on the Delaware River is Nathan BoonSenior Program Officer, Watershed Protection, William Penn Foundation. Nathan will discuss the foundation’s watershed programs, results, and its benefits to Philadelphians.


Focusing on the Schuylkill River is Marc J. Cammarata P.E.Deputy Commissioner, Planning and Environmental Services Division, Philadelphia Water Department. Marc’s division leads efforts for “Green City, Clean Waters” Program, which integrates land-based urban sustainability goals for clean, safe, attractive, and accessible rivers and streams.
