Protecting Our Water & Communities: A Virtual Tour of the Schuylkill Highlands Cluster

October 20, 2020 8:30pm to 9:30pm

Please join the Schuylkill Highlands Cluster for a unique virtual project showcase on October 20th at 4:30pm!

The Schuylkill Highlands Cluster is a collaboration of partners working to protect water and communities through land preservation and other conservation strategies in Southeast PA. Our experts will introduce the Schuylkill Highlands Cluster and the importance of the federal Highlands Conservation Act in funding land protection. Partners will then showcase two projects in Berks and Chester counties that provide environmental, economic, and social benefits to their respective communities. Through videos and lessons learned, we hope these projects will inspire further preservation and conservation of the land and water.

Agenda:
4:30pm - Who is the Schuylkill Highlands Cluster? (Kate Hutelmyer, Partnership for the Delaware Estuary)
4:45pm - Highlands Conservation Act (Jack Stefferud, Natural Lands)
