Road Salt Management Strategies

You are invited to EPA Region 3’s upcoming source water webinar, Road Salt Management Strategies, scheduled for Wednesday, March 31st from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The Road Salt Management Strategies webinar will showcase two case studies about successful strategies to reduce road salts. Both presenters will provide an overview of the localized problem and solutions, with key takeaways for those interested in developing a similar management strategy. The presenters are Daniel Kelting, Executive Director of the Adirondack Watershed Institute at Paul Smith’s College and Scott Simons, Division Chief of the Highway Maintenance Division at Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration. 

This webinar will be hosted on Microsoft Teams to encourage interactive discussions. Please login 5 minutes before the webinar to limit the entry “ding” noises during the presentation. Also, please turn off your video and audio while the speakers are presenting.
