DESCRIPTION:How to Register\nJoin us for the 9th annual Montgomery County Trail Challenge! The Montco Trail Challenge will run April 27 – December 2\, 2024. Registration is open!\n1. Sign-up\, registration is open! \nPrint your official Montco Trail Challenge card (Spanish\, Korean) or look for them at Montgomery County park and trail kiosks.\nRegister yourself or any members of your household (including dogs). \n2. Get Out and Go! \nGet out and go! Visit any of the 18 participating trails and look for special markers at the entrance (trailheads).\nRecord each symbol you find on your trail card. \n3. Turn in Your Results! \nOnce you have visited as many trails as you can\, return your completed card to a designated dropbox or submit results online. \nYou do not have to walk\, run or bike the entire trail to get credit for the challenge – just visit and enjoy to earn your recognitions!

DESCRIPTION:Flooding in our communities can be devastating. The Perkiomen Mapping & Flood Mitigation Study is the first phase of a long-term effort to help communities make more informed decisions regarding how and where to best implement stormwater management systems and projects in the Perkiomen Watershed. A series of public meetings are being held in Fall 2024 to collect valuable community input on this project.\nJoin the Perkiomen Mapping & Flood Mitigation Study team at Upper Perkiomen High School on November 21st from 6-9pm to learn more and share your experience with flooding in the Perkiomen.\nVisit Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy’s website to learn more and view the latest updates on this study.
