Understanding Funding Opportunities Through American Rescue Plan

This 75-minute session will examine the various components of the American Rescue Plan (ARP), including allocation mechanisms, grant funding opportunities, application criteria, and more. Join us as we welcome program specialists at the county, state, and federal levels to navigate through these new funding sources.  Explore how Pennsylvania can potentially tap ARP funds to advance conservation and outdoor recreation efforts.

Andy Loza | Executive Director, WeConservePA
Andy provides an overview of WeConservePA legal analysis of how ARP funds, appropriated through the U.S. Treasury can be spent to support conservation and outdoor recreation projects

Ted Martin | Deputy Director, DCED Governor’s Center for Local Government Services
Ted will provide an overview of the ARP funding made available to municipalities, counties, and states through the American Rescue Plan, appropriated through U.S. Treasury

Christopher Casper | Economic Development Specialist, Economic Development Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce
Chris will provide an overview of the various grant programs that EDA is administering through the ARP

Silas Chamberlin | Vice President of Economic and Community Development, York County Economic Alliance
Silas will provide an overview of how counties and municipalities may benefit from these funds and provide examples of how York County has allocated ARP dollars to support conservation and outdoor recreation
