South Branch French Creek Guided Site Tour

October 3, 2024 4:30pm to 4:30pm

French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust invites you to join in a guided site tour for the French Creek – South Branch restoration project. This tour will take place on Thursday, October 3rd at 4:30pm at the Thomas P. Bentley Nature Preserve.

Join their expert team of scientists and learn about the exciting restoration work planned for the South Branch. The team will discuss what makes the South Branch so special, challenges it faces, threats to its water quality, and our plans to improve its function and health.

This program will begin with a brief overview of the project before the group explores a creek-side zone of the site. If we’re lucky, we’ll catch a glimpse of the critters that call this aquatic habitat home and rely on its well-being to thrive.
