Delaware River Restoration Fund

The Delaware River Restoration Fund offers Targeted Implementation and Cornerstone Grants that help community-based nonprofits and government agencies work together to clean up and restore polluted waters and improve habitat for target species. These funds are reserved for projects that address at least one of the following strategies in a given focus area within the DRWI Phase 2 Cluster plans:

  1. Conservation on Working Lands (Farms and Forests)
  2. Restoration of Streams, Floodplains, and Wetlands.
  3. Green Stormwater Infrastructure in Urban/Suburban Landscapes
  4. Cornerstone Grants for exceptional strategic planning and partner engagement

Delaware River Watershed Protection Fund

Through the Fund, OSI provides three types of grants for partners within the Delaware River Watershed Initiative:

  1. Capital Grants (for Forest Land and/or Farm Buffer projects) applications open until April 1, 2020
  2. Transaction Grants (to jump start land conservation efforts)
  3. and Catalyst Grants (to integrate water quality science into open space plans)
