Bernhart’s Dam & Park Public Meeting
May 31, 2023 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Reading City Council and Administration will be holding a public meeting to inform the public about the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s order to remove Bernhart’s Dam and to provide the public with the plan for the surrounding park.
The meeting will be held at the Chabad of Berks County, 2320 Hampden Blvd, Reading, PA
The meetings agenda includes: Introduction of elected officials and staff, history of the park’s dewatering and lead remediation, work done to date at the park and the recovery of the environment, next steps to be taken and public comment/questions

The Schuylkill Action Network (SAN) is a collaborative network of over 300 partner organizations working together to improve water resources in the Schuylkill River watershed. With "action" as SAN’s middle name, SAN partners have been working since 2003 to implement best practices across the Schuylkill River Watershed.
