Manayunk Canal Reopening Community Event

Join Philadelphia Water Department to celebrate the completion of the Flat Rock Dam project
The Community event begins at 11 am, with speakers and presentations starting at 11:30 am. Educational tables, activities, and refreshments will be in the lobby and by the Canal.
- 11:00 am – Event starts
- 11:30 am–12:30 pm – Presentations in the theater
- 12:30–2:00 pm – Tabling & refreshments
- 1:00 pm – Ceremonial ribbon cutting on Lock St Bridge.
A small gate opening ceremony will take place at the nearby site of the Flat Rock Dam.
