Philly Fun Fishing Fest 2019

The free Philly Fun Fishing Fest at Schuylkill Banks is now in its 15th year! Enjoy a morning of free catch-and-release fishing and friendly competition on Schuylkill Banks! The Fishing Fest is perfect for anglers of all ages and levels of experience and is ADA accessible. No fishing license is required during the fishing competition and fishing gear will be available for loan on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't forget to take a photo of your catch and post it on @SchuylkillWaters Instagram or FaceBook as part of the #FishtheSchuylkill Initiative summer photo contest! Prizes include $50 from French Creek Outfitters or a $25 Visa Gift Card.
Date: Saturday, September 7, 2019 (Rain date September 14)
Time: 7:00AM - 11:00AM, with an awards ceremony at 11:30AM
Location: Schuylkill Banks @ 24th and Walnut Street
