Pennsylvania Lake Management Society Mini-Grants
The Pennsylvania Lake Management Society (PALMS), with funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, is pleased to offer assistance to address lake-related issues of critically eroded shorelines, excess nutrient loading, and/or aquatic invasive species that degrade the quality of lakes in the Commonwealth. Community Conservation Partnerships Program Grants
DCNR’s Bureau of Recreation and Conservation (BRC) assists local governments and recreation and conservation organizations with funding for projects related to parks, recreation, planning, and conservation. Applications for DCNR’s Community Conservation Partnerships Program grants are accepted once a year, typically during the spring. Fall 2022 Supplement - Community Conservation Partnerships Program Grants
Supplemental Funding Round for Fall 2022! PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources' Bureau of Recreation and Conservation (BRC) provides technical and grant assistance in support of community projects related to park and recreation facilities, trails, rivers and open space. Bureau resources also support many of the Commonwealth’s conservation, recreation and heritage partners. Applicants are also encouraged to consider the following priorities identified in the 2020-2024 Pennsylvania Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan and how they may relate or be integrated into your community project:

2022 Regional Trail Workshop Grants
WeConservePA is offering grants of up to $5,000 to conservation-oriented non-profit organizations or local/county governments to support their local trail and greenway outreach and education efforts. WeConservePA, Regional Trail Workshop Grants are awarded to support high-quality educational programming and safety training directly related to trails and greenways. Regional Trail Workshop Grants are reimbursement grants that cover up to 80 percent of the costs directly associated with each workshop (not to exceed $5,000) and require a 20 percent match from the organization. PACD 2021-22 Stormwater Training Video Mini-Grant Program for Conservation Districts
Thanks to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s continuing support of conservation district educational projects, PACD is ready to open a round of Stormwater Training Video Mini-grants! Conservation district staff are a great resource. We are looking to share your expertise and offer five mini-grants up to $2,000 for districts to develop content. Conservation districts will use grant funds to develop instructional videos on the operation and maintenance needs of a specific best management practice (BMP) for MS4 permittees. BMP types prioritized for funding are: detention basins and extended detention basins, rain gardens/bioretention basins, infiltration basins, and vegetated swales. Only one mini-grant will be awarded per BMP. Mini-grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Greened Acre Retrofit Program
GARP funding is available to companies or project aggregators who are able to develop a stormwater management plan on properties that total at least 10 acres in project size located in Philadelphia’s combined sewer service area only. The aggregator will be the direct recipient of funds but must provide agreements or contracts with all participating property owners as part of the grant application. All property owners must execute an Operations and Maintenance Agreement with PWD, and the project aggregator must execute an Economic Opportunity Plan as part of the subgrant agreement. Competitive applications will reduce costs to PWD as much as possible. Once the project is constructed, participating property owners (or customers) will be eligible for credits against their stormwater charges. |
