The Conservation Easement Assistance Program provides small grants to conservation organizations to help cover the costs of:

  • Completing conservation as well as trail and fishing access easements
  • Amending and restating older easement documents
  • Establishing or updating baseline documentation
  • Installing signs on eased properties.

Regional Trails Program

DVRPC's Regional Trails Program provides planning assistance and financial support to trail developers, counties, municipalities and nonprofit organizations to complete the Circuit, Greater Philadelphia's 800-plus-mile network of multi-use trails. Eligible activities include trail planning and feasibility studies, design and engineering, and construction. A detailed interactive map of the Circuit Trails can be found on the DVRPC website.

Delaware River Restoration Fund

The Delaware River Restoration Fund offers Targeted Implementation and Cornerstone Grants that help community-based nonprofits and government agencies work together to clean up and restore polluted waters and improve habitat for target species. These funds are reserved for projects that address at least one of the following strategies in a given focus area within the DRWI Phase 2 Cluster plans:

  1. Conservation on Working Lands (Farms and Forests)
  2. Restoration of Streams, Floodplains, and Wetlands.
  3. Green Stormwater Infrastructure in Urban/Suburban Landscapes
  4. Cornerstone Grants for exceptional strategic planning and partner engagement
