Lancaster Clean Water Fund
In 2020, the Lancaster Clean Water Fund will provide $128,000 for water quality improvement projects that help Lancaster achieve the specific pollutant reductions (mainly nutrient and phosphorus) by 2025 in accordance with the Lancaster Countywide Action Plan. Grants will be awarded through the Community Grant Fund (up to $5,000) for small-scale projects or the Water Quality Impact Fund ($10,000-$50,000) for large-scale, high-priority restoration projects. Examples include streambank stabilization, turf to meadow projects, riparian forest buffers, community tree plantings, green infrastructure, environmental education, removal of impervious surfaces, and ecological restoration.
