Delaware River Watershed Protection Fund

Launched in 2014, the Delaware River Watershed Fund seeks to ensure abundant, clean water through support of land protection and improved land use planning, as part of the broader Delaware River Watershed Initiative, a coordinated effort involving 65 organizations working together to protect and restore clean water in the Delaware River watershed. 

OSI is now accepting Applications for Transaction Grants and Catalyst Grants on a rolling basis. OSI will send a Request for Proposals for the next round of Capital grants in mid-April 2019 that will also be posted on this website.

Schuylkill River Restoration Fund

The Schuylkill River Restoration Fund provides grants to government agencies and non-profit organizations for projects that improve the quality of water in the watershed. This program also offers administrative assistance grants for land transaction and open space preservation projects.

Conservation Innovation Grants

CIG is a voluntary program that uses Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) funds to award competitive resource conservation grants to non-Federal governmental or non-governmental organizations or individuals from Pennsylvania. It does not fund research projects. Instead, it is a vehicle to stimulate the development and adoption of conservation approaches or technologies that have been studied sufficiently to indicate a likelihood of success and to be candidates for eventual technology transfer.

Water Quality Projects Along MEII Pipeline

The Wolf Administration announces the creation of a new grant program funded by the civil penalty collected from Sunoco Pipeline, LLP related to construction of the Mariner East 2 (MEII) pipeline. The grants will be awarded for projects that reduce or minimize pollution and protect clean water in the 85 municipalities along the length of the pipeline corridor.

Conservation Stewardship Program

The Conservation Stewardship Program is a voluntary conservation program that helps agricultural producers maintain and improve their existing conservation systems and adopt additional conservation activities to address priority resources concerns. Participants earn CSP payments for conservation performance ‐ the higher the performance, the higher the payment. Through CSP, participants take additional steps to improve the resource conditions on their land—including soil, air and habitat quality, water quality and quantity, and energy conservation.
