CCPA’s continuing Sustainable Philadelphia Series features two local organizations that are helping to improve the quality of our precious rivers.
Sharing insights and information on the Delaware River is Nathan Boon, Senior Program Officer, Watershed Protection, William Penn Foundation. Nathan will discuss the foundation’s watershed programs, results, and its benefits to Philadelphians.
Focusing on the Schuylkill River is Marc J. Cammarata P.E., Deputy Commissioner, Planning and Environmental Services Division, Philadelphia Water Department. Marc’s division leads efforts for “Green City, Clean Waters” Program, which integrates land-based urban sustainability goals for clean, safe, attractive, and accessible rivers and streams.
If you love living or working in a city once described as the ‘Next Great City,” you will not want to miss this event. Join us to learn how to get involved and how to help build a better future.
