May 14, 2024 1:00am to 3:30pm

Where: Penn State Extension Lehigh County, 4184 Dorney Park Road, Room 104, Allentown, Pennsylvania 18104

Penn State Extension invites classroom teachers and educators working with 6-12 grade students to participate in free workshops aimed at enhancing water education. These workshops, supported by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s Environmental Education Grants Program, offer curriculum activity kits and training to integrate water topics across various subjects. As a critical resource, water serves as a cross-curricular theme, supporting science, math, literacy, and more. With financial support, these workshops aim to bolster Pennsylvania's environmental literacy goals by empowering educators and volunteers. Led by Penn State Extension's Water Resources Team, comprising over 20 subject matter experts, the initiative aims to address water quality and quantity issues, reaching over 500,000 individuals annually. Don't miss this opportunity to enrich your teaching and earn Act 48 Hours (pending approval).
